Francesco Sillitti is an industrial designer graduated at the Architecture University of Genova, Italia in 2006.
After receiving a scholarship to study at the Polytechnic University in Valencia,
he has also worked in the same city for the Architectural Studio Soloarquitectura.
He attended the European Design Lab 09 Master ,at the institute IED in Madrid.
In 2010, he worked during the Summer Workshop at Domain de Boisbuchet, in collaboration with the Vitra Design Museum.
In 2011, he did a internship at Estudio Campana, São Paulo Brazil and
he was awarded as winner of Concept Design BRIT Award, organized by SKITCH and CASA CLAUDIA magazine, with the project DOZEQUINZE in 2012.
In 2013 he designed outdoor furniture, rocking chair, armchair and tables for the company Gandia Blasco.
From 2014 until 2016 he started to developed a series of complements ,tools and product for the kitchen, all handmade, using materials such as glass, ceramic and wood.
His academic training and specific experiences have enriched his capacity for total project management in terms of a work method, the use of materials and the form of expression. The collaboration with qualified people, European professionals with different cultures and the same passion for projection, along with the constant, rich exchange of experiences, gives him versatility and allows him to be constantly actualised with new tendencies.
